A look back at Spring/Summer 2019
Our 2019 season kicked off in early March in spectacular fashion at Harrogate Theatre Studio with the sell out production of BINGE, a tantalising box set feast of song, word and wit to satisfy all your musical theatre cravings.
An enthusiastic and appreciative audience then relished in an even bigger production of BINGE at our April Spring Concert held at The Wesley Centre in Harrogate. It was a most enjoyable evening and our audience could be heard humming and whistling as they left the building!
But for anyone who missed these two servings, the good news was there was a chance to dine on our third production of BINGE at Masham Town Hall in July 2019 and they filled every table! This most lovely audience enjoyed songs from Cabaret, Sweet Charity, The Greatest Showman, Mary Poppins, West Side Story and Guys and Dolls – plus an extra bonus helping of songs from Gary Barlow’s musical The Girls. After our summer break, we were thrilled that HTC was asked to sing at the opening ceremony of the UCI Road Cycling World Championships, just 2 days after our first rehearsal of the term! Harrogate town hosted this prestigious international event and we were so proud to be part of the celebrations.
