A huge thank you to everyone who came to our recent concert, ‘THE SOUND OF MUSICALS’ in Boroughbridge. The event was so well supported and it was wonderful to sing to a full house.  We believe that everyone went home with a spring in their step!

The day before the concert, Harrogate Theatre Choir members had been busy in their kitchens producing a splendid range of cakes, buns and traybakes which soon disappeared during the interval! We can only say a huge thank you to everyone who made generous donations in return.

As a result of our successful concert, we were delighted to be able to make a donation to Boroughbridge Community Charity and, this week, HTC Chair, Andrew Forsyth handed over a cheque for £200 to the BCC.  This is a local charity which exists to support residents and communities in the rural market town of Boroughbridge and its 32 surrounding villages.

General Manager, Karen Parker, said Your kind donation will help us and our team of wonderful volunteers to deliver our many services to those in need within our community. We really appreciate your support and hope to welcome you again in Boroughbridge.”

This season HTC are taking a stroll through the feel-good musicals of the 40s, 50s and 60s and taking our music to some of the busy and thriving towns beyond Harrogate.  Our aim this year is to raise funds for local charities that are important to the towns or villages in which we are performing.

HTC have two further performances of ‘THE SOUND OF MUSICALS’ this year:

Saturday 13 July 2024
RIPLEY TOWN HALL

Sunday 20 October 2024
