This is a joint event with our good friends Collavoce Collective. Brighten up your weekend with a day out at the abbey to enjoy the warming sight of the ruins illuminated with all the colours of the rainbow. Enjoy all that Fountains Abbey has to offer, including a mulled wine or lunch at the cafe. Then as the afternoon light starts to fade, follow the fairy lights down to the abbey and wander through the ruins aglow with bright and colourful lights. It’s really casual so there’s no need to sit and get chilly. Stop by and we’ll get you in a festive mood! Bring your singing voices in case you want to sing along!

About Us
Harrogate Theatre Choir is a vibrant and strong 50+ choir, with a wide and wonderful repertoire of songs from both stage and screen. We all have something in common – we love to sing! We rehearse, perform and socialise together with the ultimate aim of sharing our enthusiasm for singing with our audiences.
We have performed at Castle Howard, Fountains Abbey, Oakdale Golf Club, the 1940’s Day in the Valley Gardens, Ripon Bandstand, The Crown Hotel, Harrogate Theatre, Bistro Pierre, Masham Town Hall, Starbeck Methodist Church, The Wesley Centre, Christ Church, Bishop Monkton Hall, St Aidans Constance Green Hall, and Holy Trinity Church in York. We were also very proud to be part of the Opening Ceremony for the UCI World Road Cycling Championships, hosted by Harrogate, in 2019.
