Our recent performance at Wetherby Town Hall was a resounding success, attracting a full house for our afternoon concert which showcased a collection of songs from the West End. Enthusiastic applause filled the hall as the choir delivered inspiring medleys from much loved musicals including ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Wicked’. The grand finale, a powerful tribute to the 40th anniversary of ‘Les Misérables’, left the audience wanting more!

This concert was particularly significant as it marked the culmination of our own 15th birthday year, making the event all the more special for the audience and our singers. Throughout this celebration year, we have supported a local charity for each one of our concerts, and this event was no exception. The choir was thrilled to present a cheque for £400 to Rebecca Taylor, Regional Fundraiser at Martin House Children’s Hospice, a testament to the generosity of our wonderful audience. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who bought tickets, and who contributed so generously for their interval tea and home-made cakes!

“We’d like to say a big thank you to Harrogate Theatre Choir for raising such a wonderful amount for Martin House. Our specialist care gives children with life-shortening conditions and their families’ vital support and time to make precious memories together, which is only possible due to supporters like Harrogate Theatre Choir. Thank you to everyone who generously supported their fabulous concert in October. Together you have made a huge difference to the families in our care”
