This time last year we had no public performances whatsoever in the diary… No Carol Concerts, no Christmas Markets, just a Choir Members Zoom Party to look forward to – which, on reflection, brought us all some much-needed joy and laughter!
Christmas 2020 was an incredibly difficult time of year for everyone, with none of the usual buzz and excitement of the approaching festive season.
This year it’s a different picture. Catherine, our Musical Director, tells us that our voices are in good shape – all our Zoom rehearsals and recordings during lockdown have thankfully paid off. In fact, we’re an even stronger choir than we were before, having increased our membership during lockdown – a sign of our growing reputation. We’re all enjoying being back in rehearsals and are raring to go!

Harrogate Hospital Pop Up
Christmas Market

We’re thrilled that we’re going to be part of the live entertainment at the Harrogate Hospital Community Annual Outdoor Pop Up Christmas Market which is running from 11.00am to 7.00pm. Father Christmas, a licensed bar, craft stalls – even donkeys! – and so much more. All this whilst listening to a selection of songs from stage and screen, plus a few of our festive favourites. Our Christmas Concert:
‘It’s Beginning To Sound A Lot Like Christmas’

We are delighted to be staging our own Christmas Concert again this year, in Association with the Friends of All Saints’ Church, Kirkby Overblow. We guarantee that this event will get you in the mood for Christmas, with wonderful classics from stage and screen, along with live readings and Christmas Carols – what could be better!?

Christmas Tree Festival, Knaresborough
18 December 2021
This colourful and festive community event runs from 4 December right through to 23 December. We will be singing a selection of festive songs between 10.00am and 12 noon whilst visitors wander amongst the sparkle and glitter of wonderfully decorated trees. Further information can be found here.
Music and Lights, Fountains Abbey
18 December 2021, 2-3 pm
This is a joint event with our good friends Collavoce Collective. Brighten up your weekend with a day out at Fountains Abbey and, as the light begins to fade, wander down to the Cellarium to enjoy the warming sight of the ruins illuminated with all the colours of the rainbow. Both choirs will entertain you with a selection of festive favourites. Bring your sing-along voice too! Further information about the event.

Local Charity Support
We are proud to be supporting MIND in Harrogate District during the current season. Our debut CD ‘BINGE’ will be on sale at most of our events and we will be donating 50% to MIND for every CD sold. Over £950 has been raised to date. Listen here to tasters of the album tracks
