Join Harrogate Theatre Choir on Sunday 18 May 2025 at Kettlesing Millennium Village Hall as we celebrate our 15 year love affair with musicals. We are marking this remarkable milestone anniversary with a spectacular concert series HTC15: THE MUSICALS. We are excited to showcase to the local community of Kettlesing a 60-minute version of our full concert, featuring all the highlights.
A Journey Through Musical Memories
Our Concert will take you on a magical journey through the world of musical theatre. This memorable afternoon will showcase hits from iconic West End shows and classic Hollywood films, promising a delightful musical experience for everyone.
It’s our birthday, so we will be featuring some of our very favourite songs that we’ve enjoyed singing over the last 15 years. Without giving any secrets away, you can be sure that Les Miserables will most certainly feature in the HTC Top 15!
Our programme will also feature songs from a selection of more contemporary musicals that have premiered on stage over the past 15 years. Musicals such as Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton, and the musical based on Luhrmann and Pearce’s 2001 film, Moulin Rouge, could be included. You can also expect a selection of songs from some of the other sensational musicals that have wowed West End audiences over recent years, namely Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Six and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. Our Musical Director will be including as many of these as she can!
You can definitely expect a selection of songs that have captured the hearts of musical theatre fans worldwide.
