About us..
We are an eclectic group of people who have one thing in common – we all share a passion for singing and performing! Add into the mix our brilliant Musical Director, Catherine Field-Leather, and a repertoire of glorious songs from stage and screen, and magic happens! Based in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, we perform in both our local area and across Yorkshire. Our repertoire can range from Hollywood film classics to favourites from the greatest West End and Broadway shows.
Our 2026 Season
Our sparkling new production, ‘Love Stories’ wowed audiences when it premiered at Harrogate Theatre in February, marking a highly successful start to 2026.
Whilst love will be a central theme that weaves through many of our concerts this year, prepare also for an enthralling journey through musical theatre’s greatest hits! Our outdoor performance at Newby Hall in late May was pure joy and our eagerly awaited summer concert, ‘Midsummer Musicals’ attracted a most delightful and enthusiastic audience. We believe everyone left with a song in their heart and a smile on their face! After our summer break, you can start to look forward to ‘Love Stories 2′. We’re thrilled to be returning to the very elegant Crown Hotel in Harrogate, where we’ll be bringing you a show that promises to be emotional, engaging, uplifting and, most of all, entertaining. Welcome to the Harrogate Theatre Choir’s listening experience! We are a dynamic and passionate mixed SATB choir, known for our vibrant and intricate harmonies. Through our distinctive arrangements in four, six, and even eight parts, we take immense pride in the exceptional and unique sound we produce.
