If you thought that members of Harrogate Theatre Choir were taking a well earned break during the summer months, you’d be so wrong! Our Sopranos have continued rehearsing together using Zoom, and then made individual recordings in their “home studios”, singing along to a backing track. A bit of clever wizardry then takes place, using audio and video editing software, with the result being yet another HTC self-isolated performance!
We are therefore delighted to bring you a beautiful and serene rendition of a Cyndi Lauper classic, “True Colours”, written by the songwriting team of Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Listen to the words – the song is about looking below the surface to see what a person is really like and is truly inspirational.
We are very proud of our Sopranos‘ performance and hope you like it too.
